Do You Suffer With TMJ Pain

Do you have pain behind your eyes, at the temples, or down the jaw line?

You may be suffering from TMJ, or Temporomandibular Joint Disorder.  In this video, Landon describes how he had been dealing with pain behind his eyes and the base of his neck for 15 years! He had been to other doctors with no relief until he found Foresight Wellness Center.

The temporomandibular joint is located at the base of the skull, and it permits the movement of the mouth up and down and side to side. It is one of the more complex joints in the body, and severe TMJ disorders can be difficult to treat.  TMJ, jaw pain, or limited range of motion of the jaw can be caused by an injury, dental procedures, infections, autoimmune disease, or grinding or clenching of teeth at night.

The nerves that control the jaw and surrounding muscles come through the cervical C1 and C2 neck area.  When there is misalignment in that area of the spine and interference with the nerves, symptoms may include jaw pain, limited range of motion, headaches, migraines, itchy or watery eyes, or a feeling of pressure in the head.
